From a little while ago – I went to a workshop run by Tim Torrell, the same guy that introduced me to Animal Ark on his winter workshop. I had no experience, and to be honest, not really a whole lot of interest, in photographing flowers, but Tim runs a great workshop and I thought I would learn something. Which, of course I did!
So, I got the mandatory “bug on a flower” shot:

Tim suggested getting under the flowers and shooting upward:

Kind of a boring shot, but played with the Art History brush in Photoshop:

We got diverted from the flowers looking for wildlife. Tim came armed for bear….

We saw some pronghorn antelope a long ways away:

And the ubiquitous Nevada jackrabbit:
